Olathe North Headed to State Championships

Both of the Olathe North cross country teams are headed to Rim Rock Farm for the KSHSAA State Championships!!  The ladies earned their 2nd state appearance in 3 years by taking 2nd place at the regional meet behind the trio of Catie Wiltanger (6th), Abby Friesen (8th) and Jami Clay (11th).  Izzy Anstaett (16th), Hannah Rodina (18th) and Phoebe Fyffe (22nd) made a statement finishing in the top 25 and solidifying the 2nd place team finish! The boys then matched they female counterparts, taking 2nd in their race led by Zan Johnson (4th), and Josiah Heikes (5th).  Carlos Guzman (15th), Dustin Nichols (16th), and Wyatt Heikes (18th) followed not to far behind to give the boys their 3rd consecutive trip to the state championships!! Also finishing for the boys was Luis Adelid (32nd) and Brody Comer (36th).  
The state championships will be at KU's Rim Rock Farm on Friday October 31st.  The boys will run first at 10:30 and the girls will follow later in the day at noon.
